J BIMBI® feeding bottles with anti-otitis and anti-colic technology

Anti-otitis feeding bottle: the J BIMBI® anti-otitis feeding bottle technology

The J BIMBI® LOW VACUUM feeding bottle helps to prevent otitis in newborns
Watch the video and find out what LOW VACUUM is and how to prevent otitis with the patented J BIMBI® VALVE

When sucking from the feeding bottle, negative pressure (vacuum) is created inside the bottle, forcing the baby to suck harder to feed. Repeated sucking – about 40 for a 250 ml meals – causes an unnatural and potentially harmful strain for the baby. Besides inducing lack of appetite and fatigue, the vacuum in the feeding bottle creates a negative pressure inside the middle ear, a possible cause of painful infections and otitis, as shown by recent scientific studies.

Anti-colic feeding bottle: J BIMBI® anti-colic feeding bottle technology

The J BIMBI ® LOW VACUUM AND ZERO BUBBLES feeding bottle helps to prevent Colic.
Watch the video and discover the ZERO BUBBLES CANNULA and LOW VACUUM VALVE, your allies in preventing colic.

Over 40% of infants suffer due to colic and in general studies agree that the main causes are:

  • Air ingested and trapped in the intestine.
  • Artificial breastfeeding, to a greater extent than breastfeeding.

Air bubbles are created because in traditional feeding bottles the vacuum is compensated by more air entering the bottle, commonly through the nipple. The air thus slowly mixes with the milk in the form of tiny (even invisible) bubbles that are ingested by the baby during feeding. Air is also one of the causes of reflux and regurgitation in newborns!

Preventing colic and otitis with the J BIMBI® feeding bottle

To solve the issue of air bubbles the J BIMBI® feeding bottle has a special cannula that helps to prevent colic and reflux. The anti-colic and anti-reflux cannula provided by the J BIMBI ® feeding bottle prevents air bubbles from forming and mixing with the milk because the air introduced to compensate for the vacuum is directed to the bottom of the bottle. The anti-colic and anti-reflux cannula is easy to clean, thanks to a special brush supplied with the feeding bottle and can be removed after the first few months when colic episodes disappear, thus avoiding the need to change the feeding bottle. The anti-colic cannula makes it possible to have an anti-colic feeding bottle without a valve at the bottom, which can give cause sealing and hygiene issues.

The special patented low-vacuum valve provided by J BIMBI® naturally compensates for the air vacuum inside the feeding bottle, acting actively in preventing otitis and earache. It also allows physiological and controlled sucking as when breastfeeding.
